April 1, 2009: Phoenix Arizona: Club-fitting pioneer and leader PING announced today that Pennfair Golf in Penfield, NY has been named 2008 PING Regional Fitter of the Year.
The award, first given in 1997, recognizes the authorized PING Fitter who has demonstrated the highest commitment to custom fitting and the promotion of its benefits to golfers of all abilities.
Steve Allen and the staff at Penn-fair Golf has earned a reputation for its tour level approach to club fitting. The Penn-fair Golf Studio is equipped with a Vector and Vector Pro launch monitors, the Ping nFlight system and an extensive selection of fitting clubs. The approach gives each and every player the ability to realize his or her own true potential.
Along with Steve Allen are 4 club fitting specialists, led by Fitting Specialists Bill Werner and Jim Coniglio. “We are a close family here at Pennfair and my fitters are the best you will find anywhere. We train and train to provide the best fit available. We have all attended multiple fitting schools. The club fitting award belongs to the team.”
