Hi golfers! My name is Taylor Page and I am the Director of Instruction here at Pennfair Golf. I have had my clubs custom fit at Pennfair for my entire golf career and it is truly an honor to join Steve’s team after all these years spent as a satisfied customer of this business.

With that said, I have over twenty years of experience in golf, the last four of which I spent competing professionally both in the New England circuit as well as Florida.

Prior to this, I spent two years at Monroe Community College where I competed as a member of the men’s golf team. We won the national championship both in 2009 and 2010 and I was awarded with All American status for my own individual performance. After MCC, I spent two years at SUNY Fredonia where I played as the starting center mid fielder on the men’s soccer team. It was these two years spent without golf in my life that I realized how much I truly love the game and desire to have it in my life.

From Fredonia, I moved to Southern Vermont, where I hoped to find some clarity and also a start to my professional career in golf. I secured a job at Mount Snow Golf Club as the assistant professional and it was here that my career in golf really began. At Mount Snow, I was very fortunate to be given an unlimited amount of teaching responsibilities. As a vacation destination, I worked with a wide range of individuals and was able to develop my own personal teaching style that I can confidently say translates to every student I work with no matter what their level of play. Aside from my hundreds of private lesson experiences, I was also in charge of running our weekly junior and ladies clinics. These summer long clinics played an integral role in developing the way that I adjust my teaching style based on my student’s needs and ability level. As these clinics were filled with a wide variety of ages and skill levels, it was necessary for me to think on my feet and be able to challenge each student differently based on their own skill set and learning style.

I look back very fondly at my teaching experiences in Vermont because these were the years where I truly found my own unique style and path in golf. My ability to play the game at a high level sets me apart as an instructor because I have the hands on knowledge that you can only learn through years and years of practice and dedication. I played professional golf on the side while living in Vermont and traveled all around the New England states competing in state opens. My most notable recent tournament was the New Hampshire State Open last August, where I shot rounds of 67-73-67 for a total of nine under, finishing one shot out of the first place playoff at ten under. I’m not including this to brag, I’m telling you this to show that I have been there in the thick of it, and I know how to make the little tweaks that make for huge results. I continue to compete professionally and will always strive to better my own game.

I’m looking forward to meeting new golfers every day, and helping people enjoy the game of golf more than ever before!
